Summary
[edit]DescriptionLombard grave goods from Vörs and Kápolnásnyék, Hungary.jpg |
English: Grave goods from Grave 5 (man's grave), gravefield of Vörs
1. Iron shield boss with shield grip. Jug with a spout from Grave 1 (disturbed woman's grave), Kápolnásnyék
The shoulder of the spouted jug is decorated with a stamped diamond-shaped pattern. The shape and decoration show that the gray-brown tubular jug turned on a wheel is a typical Lombard product. Similar pouch-shaped vessels have been found all the way from Moravia to Italy.
Deutsch: Beigaben von Grab 5 (Männergrab) im Gräberfeld von Vörs
