Description
Français : Saumur (49), quartiers nord en rive droite de Loire.

3ème ville du département derrière Angers et Cholet, la sous-préfecture de 30 000 hab. est ici vue depuis esplanade du château.

Le fleuve est traversé par le pont Cessart (1770), long de 275 m et joignant le centre ville à l'île d'Offard.

Avant l'aménagement de la rocade ouest, c'était un maillon de l'axe Limoges-Angers via Poitiers, ou N147/D347-947.
