Summary[edit]

Description
English: The logo of the Organization for the Islamic Revolution in the Arabian peninsula; a former political organization in Saudi Arabia.

Image is based on logo visible in page 66 of "Muslim Politics" by Dale F. Eickelman and James Piscatori.

Logo shows a clenched fist holding a rifle emerging from the Kaba. To the right of this is the globe. Beneath the Kaba is the name of the organization in arabic (منظمة الثورة الإسلامية في الجزيرة العربية).

Above the rifle is a verse from the Qu'ran (at-Taubah 9:41) in arabic (انفِرُوا خِفَافًا وَثِقَالًا وَجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ).
