Summary[edit]
DescriptionLochan an Choire Dhuibh - geograph.org.uk - 8627.jpg |
English: Lochan an Choire Dhuibh. Lochan an Choire Dhuibh means 'little loch of the dark corrie' and it is the nearest of the line of small boggy lochs from which the Abhain Coire Mhic Nobuill, meaning 'river of the corrie of Noble's son' rises. Beinn Dearg (one of several thus named - it means 'red mountain' and no doubt refers to the red sandstone of which it is formed) is on the right and Beinn Alligin in the distance. |
