| Description |
English: Lochaber Tailrace The tailrace taking water from Alcan's hydro-electric generating station to discharge into the River Lochy near Fort William. Immediately to the right is a now disused pumping station that supplied tailrace water to the paper mill at Corpach. The pipeline takes drainage water from the surrounding area past the pump house intake, so preventing contamination of the main supply of water. |
