| Description |
English: Loch Thom and Compensation Reservoir. Viewed from a Glasgow bound Boeing 747. Loch Thom 882959 is the larger body of water. Compensation Reservoir 735295 ensures a constant supply of water to the Greenock and Kelly Cuts, both of which can be seen in the lower right corner 445476 & 445472. Cornalees Bridge visitor centre 725940 is to the right of Compensation Reservoir. Shielhill Farm and part of Dunrod Hill 37035 can also be seen at the lower right.
The entire area shown is part of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park http://www.clydemuirshiel.co.uk/ |
