| Description |
English: Loch Awe Hotel This imposing building enjoys spectacular views across the loch. Prior to the coming of the railway, this area was virtually uninhabited but with a station immediately adjacent it became the ideal location for stimulating Victorian tourism - in the Highlands, but within reasonably easy reach of Scotland's major cities. The station is still here and the footbridge gives access to the ferry to Kilchurn Castle. |
