When Timothys mother heard how he had beenin the marsh, she decided to send him at once to areal boys school, as he was quite beyond damesmanagement. So he was sent to live with Dr.Dixon Airey, who kept a school on the moors, assisted by one usher, a gentleman who had verylong legs and used very long words, and who worecommon spectacles of very high power on workdays, and green ones on Sundays and holidays.
