Llyn Morwynion ("lake of the virgins") on the northern slopes of Rhinog Fawr

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Llyn Morwynion ("lake of the virgins" in Welsh) is an isolated lake on the northern slopes of Rhinog Fawr. The name - which is shared by another lake around 10 miles away - may have its origins in the Welsh medieval epic known as the Mabinogion.
