| Description |
English: Llwybr Ceiriog Trail at Blaenau Uchaf. Llwybr Ceiriog Trail. This is the bridleway (strictly a BOAT) shown in 72147 and as we already have this shot very similar to mine taken further west on the trail, I offer instead this one taken at the junction of lanes where the trail leaves the road and starts its beautiful traverse and descent of the southern slope of the Dyfrdwy (Dee) valley. At this point we are at Blaenau Uchaf at the summit of the ridge between the Dyfrdwy and Ceiriog valleys. Castell Dinas Bran is ahead in the distance with Trevor Rocks on the
far (north) side of the Vale of Llangollen. |
