English: Italy Livorno, Ardenza Mare, Viale Italia, Villa Archivolti. It was built in the mid-ninteenth century by family Archivolti. In 1988 the owner was Giuseppe Archivolti which sold it to marchesa Marietta Bertolli in 1897 and the following year passed to Alessandra Bertolli. In 1922 the villa become property of Ines Bonazzi which sold to Luigi Binelli in 1949 and left it to Ornella Magnago in 1953. The building is characterized by the construction a lower wall built on the outside profile of the roof in order to protect the tiles from the libeccio wind. |
