The lighthouse at Fishermans Harbour is another one of the active lighthouses declared surplus by the Canadian Federal Government.

Location: On beach, south side of harbour Standing: This light is still standing. Operating: This light is operational Automated: All operating lights in Nova Scotia are automated. Date Automated: Automated by 1941 Began: 1905 Year Lit: 1905 Structure Type: Tapered square wood tower, white, red lantern Light Characteristic: Fixed Green (1992) Tower Height: 023ft feet high.

Light Height: 025ft feet above water level.
