Description The M3A1 Stuart (official name: Light Tank, M3A1), a U.S. Army light tank introduced in 1942. This was the successor to the original M3 Stuart and was known as the "Stuart III" in British service. It lacks the turret cupola and sponson machine guns of the original M3.
