| Description |
At the Kaga Bandoro hospital to the north of the Central African Republic, water pumps have been installed to provide safe drinking water for families who have been forced to flee their homes. Aid agencies across the country are working together to meet the differing needs of those who have been hit by the violence. Britain also fielded a team of experts to see how UK aid could help them most effectively. Britain is also supporting the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide health services and water distribution for hundreds of thousands of people across the country. The UK is providing emergency healthcare, clean water, food and logistical support to hundreds of thousands of people across CAR in response to the severe escalation in the humanitarian crisis.
