SMITH William Reginald Sturston 2nd Lt, 28th Sqdn, Royal Flying Corps, General List died of wounds 22/10/1917 aged 19 whilst a Prisoner of War in Germany He was the son of Thomas Bertram and Florence Annie nee Woolley who in 1901 were residing at 17, St John's Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He is a native of Tibshelf, Derbyshire (The Wills and Probate have is death location as Belgium and his widowed mother was residing at Clifton Hill, Clifton, Derbyshire. He is commemorated on the Arras Flying Services Memorial, France
