Description
English: At the Austrian national state holiday at the 26th, October 2013, the Austrian Army (Bundesheer) showed its preparedness in the event of a disaster as well as on war, setting a new world record for bungee jumping. Springboard was a Liebherr LR 1600/2, which was erected on Vienna's Heldenplatz. General jump height was 192 m, but the anonymous soldier jumped from the cab roof, 194 m.
Deutsch: Zum österreichischen Nationalfeiertag 26. Oktober 2013 zeigte das Bundesheer seine Einsatzbereitschaft im Kriegs- wie im Katastrophenfall und stellte einen neuen Weltrekord im Bungee-Jumpen auf. Absprungbasis war ein Liebherr LR 1600/2, der auf dem Wiener Heldenplatz aufgebaut war. Allgemeine Sprunghöhe 192 m, der anonyme Soldat sprang vom Kabinendach, 194 m.
