Description |
English: National Grocery Company was established in 1902 by Julius Lang. Lang settled in Seattle during the gold rush years and established National Grocery as a wholesale distribution firm serving Alaska and Washington state. National Grocery was located at Western Avenue between Spring and Madison Streets until 1930. The building is now a city of Seattle historic landmark.
In this letter, National Grocery Company writes to the Trade Register journal regarding an advertisement to appear on its pages. Depicted in the upper left corner of this letterhead is the historic National Grocery Company Building, now the historic landmark National Building."
