Tegninger til det hus der skulde oppføres her, istedet for det gamle vi nu bor i - men som aldrig blev bygget.
 Tømmer blev kjøpt, tomt utsøkt, all til innredning som døre og vinduer. dette blev alt sammen gjort innen vi hadde set ejendommen. Den blev kjøpt mens vi var i utlannet af råd fra Per Bø og højskolefolkene, dengang Chr. Bruun og Chr Jansen-
Men da vi kom hjem viste det sig at alt annet enn huset var dårligere, ikke at tale om husmandsplassene - og dertil gik så materialet - undtagen de store døre og vinduer.
