English: White and big Lenin bust at the backyard of the Estonian History Museum at the Maarjamaë Palace. The backyard of the palace has become a graveyard for soviet statues which were too big to be displaied at the Occupations Museum in the center of Tallinn. Most of the forgotten soviet statues have been vandalized and are brocken with missing parts. They lie down on the grass, gathering moss and getting slowly roasted. Only a statue of Lenin, about 4 meter high, is still standing, looking at the pile of other damaged soviet statues. Deutsch: Große Lenin Büste im Hinterhof des Schlosses Maarjamäe, in dem heute das moderne Estnische Geschichtsmuseum (Eesti Ajaloomuuseum) von Tallinn sich befindet. Der Hinterhof gielt heute als Friedhof für alte sowjetischen Denkmale, die in dem Museum der Besetzung und des Kampfes um Freiheit (Toompea 8, Tallinn) nicht passten. Die meisten sowjetischen Statuen, die damals Parks und Strassen von Estonia schmückten, wurden in Vergessenheit geraten und duch Vandalismus beschädigt und gebrochen. Die auf dem Grass liegenden Statuen werden langsam bedeckt mit Moos, leicht verrostet oder angebrochen. Nur die 4 Meter höche Statue von Lenin blieb noch stehen im Jahr 2011 und blickte dem Haufen der übrigen beschädigten alten sowjetischen Statuen an. Français : Grande buste de Lenine à l'arrière-cour du Palais de Maarjamaë, qui ajourd'hui est le siège du Musée d'Histoire de l'Estonie (Eesti Ajaloomuuseum). L'arrière-cour du palais est devenue un cimetière pour les statues soviétiques qui étaient trop grandes ou pas assez interessant pour être affichées au Musée de l'Occupation de Tallinn, au centre de la ville. La plupart des statues soviétiques, qui avant adornaient les parcs et rues d'Estonie, ont été ajourd'hui oubliées et vandalisées, elles sont cassées et avec des parties qui manquent. Les statues, allongées sur l'herbe, rassemblent de la mousse et devient lentement rouillées et avec des fisures. Seulement une statue de Lenin, environ 4 mètre haut, se tenait debout en 2011, tout en regardand la pile formé pour d'autres statues soviétiques endommagées. |
