Summary[edit]

Description
English: Pictured are soldiers from Legion Troop, C Sqn Light Dragoons and their camouflaged Jackal taking part in Exercise Masurian Lightning as OPFOR (playing enemy) for the U.S led Battlegroup Poland.

Force-on-force exercises give NATO partners a chance to train against Peer-Peer enemy and replicate the most realistic training environment. It also allows for excellent understanding of partner nation tactics.

Soldiers from C Squadron, Light Dragoons, are in Poland on OPERATION CABRIT, as part of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence.

Around 140 soldiers from the Light Dragoons and attachments from other parts of the armed forces make up 'Legion Troop' - the reconnaissance asset of Battlegroup Poland. They are working alongside soldiers from the U.S, Romania, Croatia, and Poland.

UK Armed Forces have a leading role in NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence in the Baltic States to enhance Euro-Atlantic security, reassure our allies and deter our adversaries.
