Summary[edit]
DescriptionLead miners, Crich Tramway Village - geograph.org.uk - 1293302.jpg |
English: Lead miners, Crich Tramway Village. This sculpture of two lead miners is more or less at the end of the Woodland Walk and Sculpture Trail, and near the Bowes-Lyon Bridge, which crosses the tramway. It should be said that the uppermost miner does not normally wear a hat. But it was the Easter weekend and the following two days the village was running a World War II themed event. A lot of the people who were to take part had already arrived, and one of them was no doubt responsible for giving the miner a military cap! |
