Description iconographique:

Perspective composite sur le péristyle du Louvre, 1er arrondissemnt. Au 1er plan, lacharpente d'un toit démoli domine les ruines d'un bâtiment : à gauche une colonnade et le départ d'une voute en pierre ; à droite, un pan de mur. Entre les deux, à l'arrière plan : le péristyle du Louvre surmonté d'une balustrade ornée de statues.
