Description

Sachet d'hippocampes séchés en vente sur le grand marché de Cho Lon

Cho Lon (Grand Marché) est le coeur commerçant de la ville, il a été développé par les chinois dès la fin du XVIIIème siècle. Cho Lon a été rattaché à Saigon en 1874.

Les hippocampes macérés dans de l'alcool de riz auraient des vertus aphrodisiaques et combattraient l'arthrose, selon le principe chinois "Manger, c'est se soigner"

Les hippocampes sont en vente en grande quantité sur les marchés asiatiques malgré les risques d'extinction de l'espèce que certains affirment.
