Summary[edit]

Description Lantau (at 144 sq Km) is almost twice the size of HK island . Po Lin (Precious Lotus, also known as the "Buddhist Kingdom in the South") is a large Buddhist monastery and temple complex built in 1920 by the Qing Dynasty. It can be reached by bus, and the 2460 feet climb on a very-steep, partially one-way road is an enjoyable part of the trip!
