| Description |
Deutsch: Da die Raketenentriebe mit Alkohol und Sauerstoff betrieben wurden, stellte man Flüssigsauerstoff vor Ort her. Das Sauerstoffwerk - mit seinem Vorbild in Peenemünde - zählte weltweit zu den größten Anlagen dieser Art. Pro Monat konnten etwa 15.000 Tonnen Flüssigsauerstoff erzeugt werden. Die Technik wurde durch die französische Besatzungsmacht abgebaut und zunächst in den Pyrenäen neu aufgebaut. Später wurde sie nach Algerien umgesetzt. Vor den Fundamenten im Bild verlief die Bahntrasse der Teuringer Talbahn. So konnten Sauerstoff und Raketen direkt verlastet werden. |
