By die M’buna Bay Lodge, geleë in die gemeenskap van Nkholongue, verwerf werknemers waardevolle vaardighede in oordbestuur, kookkuns en konstruksie, terwyl hulle inkomste verdien vir broodnodige uitgawes aan gesondheid, onderwys en hul gemeenskap. USAID het in vennootskap met die Mosambiekse regering, die Wêreldnatuurlewefonds en die Coca-Cola-maatskappy gewerk om die spesies en natuurlike habitatte van die mees biodiverse varswatermeer ter wêreld te beskerm. English: Tourism is already contributing to community development within the Lake Niassa Reserve by providing high-paying, local jobs. At the M’buna Bay Lodge, located in the community of Nkholongue, employees are gaining valuable skills in resort management, cooking and construction, while earning much needed income for investments in health, education, and their community. USAID has worked in partnership with the government of Mozambique, the World Wildlife Fund, and the Coca-Cola Company to protect the species and natural habitats of the of the most biodiverse freshwater lake on earth.
