Description

La salle à foliage avec le plafond peint par Camillo Mantovano (Camillo Capelli) en 1560

La décoration du plafond de cette salle est due à Camillo Mantovano, ce style est inspiré de peintures de l'Antiquité et a été réinterprété à la Renaissance.

Les oiseaux rapaces et les inscriptions latines dans les lunettes sont des allusions à la persécution subie par Giovanni Grimani du fait de l’Inquisition...

La cheminée et les portails sont réalisés avec des marbres anciens provenant de la collection de la famille. Les deux bustes, sont des oeuvres de Ludovico Lombardo, ils représentent l’empereur Hadrien et sa femme Sabine (XVI s.)
