Description
Español: Retrato de la reina María Isabel de Braganza (1797-1818), que fue hija del rey Juan VI de Portugal y también reina consorte de España por su matrimonio con el rey Fernando VII. La reina va ataviada con un vestido camisa tipo forro de la última época en tonos encarnados, bordados dorados con forma de flor en el tul, escote cuadrado y manga abullonada, con los remates resaltados en vuelillos de encaje blanco. La Banda de la Orden de María Luisa va terciada desde el hombro derecho. Luce peinado de inspiración clásica y un tocado de diadema de brillantes y una rosa; lleva también un aderezo compuesto de pendientes, collar y brazaletes de esmeraldas, brillantes y perlas engarzadas en oro, todo ello a juego, y adorna las manos con lujosas sortijas. La retratada apoya su mano izquierda, con la que sostiene un pañuelo blanco, sobre una mesa, mientras deja caer la derecha sobre la falda, con un abanico cerrado.
