Description
Français : Croix de guerre 1914-1918 avec palme de bronze décerné à la ville de Saint-Omer, elle est accroché à une copie conforme de la citation à l'ordre de l'armée par Georges Clemenceau, elle a été remise à la ville par Léon Abrami lors d'une cérémonie officielle le 5 octobre 1919. Elle est actuellement conservée au pôle archive de la BAPSO à Saint-Omer.

Paris, le 24 Septembre Cabinet du Ministre 2ème Bureau Le PRESIDENT du CONSEIL, MINISTRE de la GUERRE cite à l'ORDRE de l'ARMÉE : La VILLE de Saint-OMER : "Centre important de communications, a été exposée "à d'incessants bombardements par avions qui ont fait "dans sa population de nombreuses victimes. A conservé "malgré le danger, une attitude stoïque et s'est attachée " pendant toute la guerre à maintenir sa vie économique, "rendent ainsi d'éminents services aux Armées Alliées " et aux Pays. " (Cette citation a été insérée au J.0. du 5 Octobre 1919) Pour copie conforme. le COLONEL, Chef-Adjoint du Cabinet. -"signature"-
