Français : Cette huile sur toile de petit format représente des lavandières au bord de l'eau, plus précisément de la Touques. Eugène Boudin insère ses figures en bas à droite dans un paysage normand où il accorde au ciel la moitié de son support. On distingue à l'horizon l'esquisse d'un port ainsi que des navires dans à droite. L'eau occupe la partie inférieure gauche. Le peintre s'intéresse à l'atmosphère, au ciel nuageux. L'œuvre est signée et datée en bas à droite.
