Description Le noyau historique de la ville doit son nom à un hôpital français, disparu aujourd'hui. Ce quartier, l'un des mieux conservés du vieux Strasbourg, était autrefois celui des pêcheurs, des tanneurs et des meuniers. Les bras de l'Ill, cloisonnés par des écluses, permettaient à la batellerie rhénane de remonter jusqu'aux portes des arrière-boutiques. Maisons à pans de bois se reflétant dans les eaux paisibles de l'Ill, sensation d'être hors du temps : un charme envoûtant.
