Español: La comitiva de la Fiesta Barroca ha desfilado anoche entre la Plaza de Oriente y la Plaza Mayor -tras recorrer la calle Mayor-, para ser recibida en el centro de la plaza por el propio rey Felipe III y su corte, como se hacía a lo largo de los siglos XVII y XVIII. La celebración forma parte del programa de actividades culturales organizadas por el Ayuntamiento de Madrid para conmemorar el IV Centenario de la Plaza Mayor. Una programación especial que busca devolver el protagonismo a la plaza más significativa de la ciudad, contribuir a que recupere su esencia y reconvertirla en un gran escenario donde sucedan los acontecimientos públicos más relevantes. |
