Description LC-USZC4-9548: World War I Recruiting Poster. “The Sword is Drawn / The Navy upholds It.” Artwork by Kenyon Cox, H.C. Miner Lithograph, 1917. Poster shows Liberty in a red cloak, holding a sword and a scroll inscribed “We Can Do No Otherwise.” Also at NHHC as NH 93746-KN. (6/19/2015).
