Description
Deutsch: Auf dem Jüdenhof Richtung Westen, das Johanneum wurde von 1586 bis 1591, möglicherweise 1594 von Paul Buchner als Stallhof (Marstall, Stall- und Wagenremise) des Residenzschlosses gebaut. Zwischen 1727 und 1744 wurde es zur Gemäldegalereie umgebaut, die Neorenaissance-Fassade entstand 1872 bis 1876. Im Krieg wurde das Gebäude durch Bombentreffer beschädigt, jedoch nach Kriegsende wieder aufgebaut. Seit 1956 beherbergt es das Verkehrsmuseum.
Links steht der Friedensbrunnen von 1916. Der »Advent auf dem Neumarkt« läuft bis zum 1. Januar 2024.
