Description
Deutsch: Der Tunnel ist ab dem Ende des Stationsbauwerkes schon in den 1920ern gebaut worden, erkennbar an den genieteten Deckenträgern. Beim Streckenbau wurde der Abschnitt grundlegend saniert.
Das Gleis links außen ist das Richtungsgleis Weißensee–Adenaueralle der Strecke F. Es existiert zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt nur zwischen dem Bereich Al des Bahnhofs Alexanderplatz und der Abstellanlage RHU in der unteren Ebene des Bahnhofs Rotes Rathaus. Der Bau dieser Strecke seit hundert Jahren geplanten Strecke Weißensee–Adenauerallee ist zum Zeitpunkt nicht absehbar.

English: The tunnel was built from the end of the station structure as early as the 1920s, recognizable by the riveted ceiling girders. During track construction, the section was thoroughly rehabilitated.
The track on the far left is the Weissensee-Adenaueralle directional track of line F. At the time of the photo, it exists only between the Al area of Alexanderplatz station and the RHU siding in the lower level of Rotes Rathaus station. The construction of this line Weißensee-Adenauerallee planned for a hundred years is not foreseeable at the time.
