Il s'agit d'une chapelle portative (zushi) avec le bouddha Amida, la figure centrale du bouddhisme japonais. A cette époque, Amida est considéré comme le sauveur universel transcendant grâce auquel les disciples peuvent atteindre la terre Pure, seul lieu pour réaliser l'Illumination.

Oeuvre présentée dans l'exposition Samouraï au Château-musée des ducs de Bretagne à Nantes

L'exposition Samouraï assemble près de 450 objets, pour certains inédits, de l'armure traditionnelle du 16e siècle au costume de Dark Vador. Au-delà de la simple présentation de l’histoire d’une classe guerrière, cette exposition dresse un portrait du Japon d’hier et aujourd’hui./i>
