Kuniyoshi Utagawa,Minamoto no Yorimitsu Battling an Earth Spider (Minamoto no Yorimitsu Tsuchigumo Taiji), c. 1818-1830. Left half of a diptych woodblock print. The print depicts Yorimitsu fighting the apparition of a tsuchigumo, which has been haunting him. This is one of Kuniyoshi's earliest warrior prints. From here.
