| Description |
English: Krkavče Stone. The menhir at Krkavče (City Municipality of Koper, southwestern Slovenia) probably dates to the first centuries of the Common Era. There is a relief of a solar being on each side of the monolith: the eastern relief has been hypothesised to represent the Roman god Mithras, whereas the western to represent Christ.[1]. The photograph shows the western side of the menhir. Slovenščina: Krkavčanski kamen. Menhir pri Krkavčah (Mestna občina Koper, jugozahodna Slovenija) verjetno datira v prva stoletja našega štetja. Na vsaki strani monolita je relief sončnega bitja: relief na vzhodni strani domnevno predstavlja rimskega boga Mitro, relief na zahodni strani pa Kristusa.[2] Fotografija prikazuje zahodno stran menhirja. |
