English: Photo taken at the Lofoten War Memorial Museum (Norwegian: Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum) in Svolvær, Norway's largest exhibition of uniforms and smaller items related to the Second World War and the German occupation of Norway 1940 – 1945:

    • German WWII camera (Kamera) withLeitz Elmar lens 1:1,35 50mm and marked with the text Kriegsmarine, the eagle-and-swastika and other emblems
feldgendarmerie.net: The Marineküstenpolizei (MKP) was formed in 1940 with a draft of personnel from the Wasserschutzpolizei (WSP, river police and coast guard), much in the same way as the Feldgendarmerie was originally formed with drafts of personnel from the civil Gendarmerie. The subjugation of a number of countries (Norway, France etc) with extensive coastlines meant that a naval equivalent of the military police would be needed.
