Description
Deutsch: Kirche (mit Ausstattung); bedeutender vor allem barocker Kirchenbau, dreischiffige Halle mit eingebauten Emporen und Westturm, dazu Ausstattung einschließlich Orgelprospekt im nüchternen Stil der Wiederaufbauzeit nach 1945, Hauptpfarrkirche Dresdens, bestimmte die Silhouette der Stadt in entscheidendem Maße mit, baugeschichtlich, kunstgeschichtlich, künstlerisch, ortsgeschichtlich und städtebaulich von Bedeutung. Errichtet nach Plänen von Johann George Schmidt, Turmgestaltung durch Christian Friedrich Exner, im Inneren zahlreiche Artefakte aus der Sophienkirche, darunter Teile des Nosseni-Epitaphs.
