| Description |
English: Kosi River is a trans-boundary river which originates in Tibet and flows through Nepal and the Indian state of Bihar. It meets Ganga at Kursela in the Katihar district of Bihar. It is a major river in Bihar and overall the third biggest tributary of the Ganges by volume and discharge. It is known as the 'Sorrow of Bihar' for the ravaging floods that it brings every year. |
