Summary[edit]

Description

KODIAK, Alaska - Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Eric Stoecker, an aviation survival technician with Air Station Kodiak, explains search and rescue operations with Nando Macinko, a Kodiak High School student, at Air Station Kodiak Jan 26, 2011, while an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter and crew provide a SAR demonstration. Macinko expressed an interest in learning more about rescue swimmers as he is an avid swimmer in high school and was able to learn more while job shadowing Stoecker.
