Summary[edit]

Description
English: A market in Winterveldt, a township in Pretoria.

People from in and around the community sell a wide range of items including clothes, kitchen utensils, grocery items and fresh meats.

The sellers usually only come out to sell twice a month - the beginning, and mid-month; this is because their target market is those who collect grants from the government. This fact is subsumed in the name "Ko Modendeng", meaning "Place of Grants".
