Summary[edit]

Description
English: The immensely popular tourist town of Knsyna is flanked by the Knysna heads. Two striking masses of land guard the entrance to the lagoon where the British first set foot in 1804. The Western head features ancient caves and looming cliffs which overlook the treacherous, churning water below. Undoubtedly, cruising the lagoon and exploring the Nature Reserve on the Western head is the highlight of many trips to Knysna. The Western head is home to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, which is privately owned by William Smith producer of The Learning Channel.
