Summary[edit]

Description
English: One of some small objects from Sumer. Nail-like stakes or pegs, often held by people, were found at several temples. These are interpreted as referring to actual stakes, used with string to demarcate the grounds of future temples. They can be found in many museums, from different origins. Bronze, ca. 2144-2124 BC.
