Four facades 'block' building. Eclectic. Built in 1872. Károly Benkó, Ferenc Kolbenheyer, architects from Pest (Budapest); detailed architectural drawings by Ferenc Arleth local architect, construction manager. The four-façade palace was built for merchant Dávid Kiss. It will have two floors, on the ground floor there were once 30 shops (each with office space), with a total of 18 apartments (4-7 rooms) on the two floors. The first tenants were Miklós Lemle's hat warehouse, Gyula Polczner's glass shop, Gyula Polczner, Herman Klein, Szeged Steam Mill Insurance, Bernát Traub and his partner's book, paper and note shop. In 1889, the heirs of Dávid Kiss were already owners - The square courtyard palace was built on a square plot with corner and central risalites, which are highlighted by the roof structures. In the iron lattice of the gates you can see the name letters of the builder and the former house number: K D, SZ 1515. The balcony above the gates is supported by four auger consoles. The upstairs windows have straight closures, with wall pillars lined up between them. In the risalite there is an arched tympanum. For those on the second floor, the belt ledge is also a window sill, and straight eyebrows are only in the rizalite. The roof had a series of arched vents. Twin windows on roof structures. From the pillared doorways you get to the staircases, where the staircase is accompanied by a richly drawn cast-iron railing, similar to the railing of the courtyard hanging corridor resting on consoles. Decorative painting on the ceiling of both staircases, ornamental and figurative composition on a rectangular field. - Ilona Vadász memorial plaque lived in this house on its façade (2018) - The inscription on its monument plaque: "'Kis David's House' of cityscape significance It has an eclectic style. Kiss Dávid kereskedő részére épült négyhomlokzatú palota. Kétemeletes lesz, a földszinten egykor 30 bolt (mindegyik irodahelyiséggel), a két emeletben összesen 18 (4–7 szobás) lakással. Az első bérlők Lemle Miklós kalapraktára, Polczner Gyula üvegkereskedése, Polczner Gyula, Klein Herman, Szegedi Gőzmalom Biztosító, Traub Bernát és társa könyv-, papír- és hangjegykereskedése. 1889-ben már a Kiss Dávid örökösök tulajdosok - Négyzet alakú telekre épült a négy utcára szóló négyszögudvaros palota, sarok- és közép-rizalitokkal, melyeket kiemelnek a tetőépítmények. A földszint kváderozva van. Homlokzata a terek felől 1(iker)+5+1+K+1+5+1(iker), az utcák felől 1(iker)+13+1(iker) tengely. A kapuk és a boltnyílások egyenes záródásúak. A kapuk vasrácsában az építtető névbetűi és a hajdani házszám: K D, SZ 1515 látható. A kapuk feletti erkélyt négy csigás konzol tarja. Az emeleti ablakok egyenes záródásúak, közöttük falpillérek sorakoznak. A rizalitban íves timpanon van. A második emeletieknél az övpárkány egyben ablakpárkány, és egyenes szemöldök csak a rizalitban van. A tetőn egy sor íves szellőzőnyílás volt. A tetőépítményeken ikerablakok. A falpilléres kapualjakból jutni a lépcsőházakba, ahol a lépcsősort gazdag rajzú öntöttvas korlát kíséri melyhez hasonló az udvari, konzolokon nyugvó függőfolyosó korlátja. Mindkét lépcsőház mennyezetén díszítő festés, téglalap alakú mezőben ornamentális és figurális kompozíció. - Homlokzatán: E házban élt Vadász Ilona (1940-1995) gordonművész, főiskolai adjunktus, zenekonzervatóriumi művészettanár... emléktábla (2018) - Műemlék táblájának felirata: "Városképi jelentőségű 'Kis Dávid-ház' Eklektikus stílusú. 1872-ben épült" - Kigyó patika cégér (Felállítás 1987, Kalmár Márton) Bronz, 90x38 cm. A kehely alsó palástján köriratban olvasható: ALAPÍTÁS ÉVE: 1874[1] - Először ez az épület választotta ketté a korábbi nagy- vagy főpiacot (1860-tól a Széchenyi teret). Az itt lakó Klauzár Gáborról (1874) nevezik el a másik részt Klauzál térre.
