| Description |
English: Kit Kat Crescent A rather daft name for a football ground, but if the sponsors are being generous, who's to argue? For many years this was known as Bootham Crescent and is the home of York City FC, who midway through the 2008/09 season are struggling in the lower reaches of the Conference Premier League. A little old fashioned ground where one can still stand on the terraces and shout helpful advice to the referee regarding the best place for him to purchase new glasses. |
