| Description |
English: Commemorative plaque to Mr. János Kis (1770–1846) Hungarian lutheran pastor, protestant superintendent, poet and translator. It is affixed to the front of the high school where he was a student between 1782 and 1791. The plate has been unveiled June 7, 1936 to mark the 90th anniversary of the poet's death. The authors of the bronze relief were Károly Merész and Kálmán Renner. (Sopron, Széchenyi Square Nr 11) Français : Plaque commémorative à M. János Kis (1770–1846) pasteur luthérien, superintendant protestant, poët et traducteur littéraire hongrois. Elle est apposée sur le front du lycée où il faisait ses études entre 1782 et 1791. La plaque a été dévoilée le 7 juin 1936 à l’occasion du 90ème anniversaire de la mort du poète. Les auteurs du relief en bronze étaient MM. Károly Merész et Kálmán Renner. (11 place Széchenyi, Sopron) Magyar: Kis János (1770–1846) magyar evangélikus lelkész, szuperintendens, költő és műfordító emléktáblája annak a gimnáziumnak a homlokzatán, ahol 1782 és 1791 között tanult. A bronz dombormű Merész Károly és Renner Kálmán alkotása. Felavatva: 1936. június 7-én, a költő halálának 90. évfordulója alkalmából. (Sopron, Széchenyi tér 11.) |
