Transcribed from photograph: "Buildings. King County Courthouse. Third Avenue and Jefferson Street. Built 1882; demolished after 1891. 1886."

"Built 1882" is potentially misleading. Part of this was built 1876, and the first of many extensions (the only one at the time this photo was taken) was the addition of a courtroom in 1882.
"demolished after 1891", while true in a sense, is very misleading: the building was demolished in 1909.
Different sources variously date this photo 1882 or 1886.
