Kevin Durant Pure Platinums were born in March 1,2014. The colors are green blue and white.They are apart of the KD 6 Collection started by Kevin Durant in 2013 KD 6 short for Kevin Durant 6's are one of the hottest selling shoes in America. Kevin Durant is revolutionizing Nike in many ways. One way he has innovated his shoe is what he does on the court. So far he leads the league in scoring with 31.9 PPG and second in assist as a forward with 5.6 APG. Kevin is also first in in the MVP voting. Off the court he is still creating his KD 6 Aunt Pearl. Aunt Pearl is named in honor of his Aunt pearl who died from breast cancer in 2000. Kevin and his aunt had a connection no one could break. His quote about the shoe was " I made a promise to myself to always honor my Aunt Pearl for the example she set, and the encouragement she gave me to follow my dreams."-Kevin Durant |
